CRT is a lens for doing scholarship; so it doesn’t make sense to call this CRT. Most people teaching DEI, or even racially-informed history etc., have never been taught CRT. I have a doctorate and am a Marxist/critical educator/scholar. I have never once been taught CRT or had it assigned. Using “CRT” as shorthand for anything related to systemic racism or DEI is lazy and misleading.
